As an arts enrichment program, the Central Music Academy has provided free musical learning opportunities for financially disadvantaged kids since 2004.

CMA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that gives free musical training--in all areas of musical performance and to all levels of learners--to low-income children in Lexington, Kentucky.

To be accepted onto CMA's student roster, children must qualify for free or reduced lunches at school and be between the ages of 8 and 18.

Since CMA’s inception in 2004, our dedicated teachers have given over 40,000 free lessons to more than 1,000 students.
